Have a safe trip home Grandma and Popo!

I just had a really fun visit with my Grandma and Popo, who flew here all the way from Pasadena, California. It seems like they just got here and this morning we already had to say goodbye. We had lots of great adventures, we had lunch out at some pretty nice places- Harrod's Georgian Room (where they had someone playing the piano the whole time, which was cool), The Soho Hotel (where I have lots of friends since we stayed there a whole week back in January) and Daddy joined us from work when we went, we also went to Grandma and Popo's favorite pub called The Mitre. It's very old. Established (whatever that means) in 1547. Wow!
Here's a little video of us there:

We also went on a barge ride on Regent's Canal from Little Venice to Camden on market day.
The boat was so full of people that a school group from Spain barely fit at the last minute. But good thing they did, I got to flirt with a teenage girl who sat right behind me. She let me play with here hand a little bit. Here are some pictures:

During their visit we also did lots of fun things like Gymboree and just cuddling, playing and laughing back at our flat. It was really fun spending a long time with them.
My mommy said that Grandma and Popo won't get back to Pasadena until after I go to bed tonight. I hope they're not walking 'cuz then they'd probably be pretty pooped!

My new house! Or I guess, they call it a flat here...

My mommy and Daddy are pretty sure a lot of people live in our new building. At our front door there are three doorbells.

This lady named Alice showed us our flat on a very long day when we saw 14 places! Here's Alice opening our front door. It's pretty big! I don't think my stroller will have any problems getting inside.

And here's my room! It has a secret little closet you can see and an old fireplace that they walled up. Mommy says she's going to make me a toy fire and logs out of felt so I can have a play fire.
And here's my bathtub! Oh boy am I excited! My toys will be so cool floating around in there and I think that rail around the end os for me to balance.
This is the view from my bedroom window. Mommy says it's called a dormer. There's a neighbor over there who has a pool. I wonder if they have kids I'll play with one day. There are lots and lots of kids in Hampstead.

This is the room across the hall from my room. Who knows, maybe one day I'll have a little brother or sister who has their room there.

This is the view from Mommy and Daddy's room. One of our friends said it looks like Mary Poppins lives there... I wonder who that is?

This is the fireplace downstairs in the living room. When we looks at the flat with Alice I managed to pull it apart pretty quickly. Mommy and Daddy will have to be quick on their feet! Those bags all around are filled with kid shoes! Our landlady owns a kid's shoe shop, so some of them could even fit me, but I was more fascinated by the fireplace, especially once Mommy said "No!"

I'll have more pictures once we move in next week. And the movers say our things are coming on April 9th, so pretty soon we'll have lots of things to fill the empty spaces. I'm excited to live n our new place. Mommy and Daddy are too!

more fun in the UK!

While on a walk with my Uncle Wayne, we found a great way to go to the zoo... On a boat! That's the boat right behind me. It was sort of rainy on the day my mommy took this picture, but I think I'm going to take my Grandma and Popo there today so I might have better, sunnier pictures soon.
Our first trip we took to Surrey we
rode the train from Waterloo Station to
Walton on Thames where my Auntie
Anne picked us up and we hung out at
her new house. Aunt Anne has a girl
named Lily who is 6 and who fascinates me. When we come to visit, she sets up all of her toys so that I can play (she's getting ready to have twin younger brothers, so he practice is good), and very often she's dressed up like a sparkly princess when she gets home from school and changes out of her uniform.

Here I am for our first trip to Hampton Court Palace

We keep meeting lots of very nice people who know our friends back in the states. One of those people is my Auntie Jaqi, who also lives in Surrey. She was very kind and had us all over for a big lunch and then afterwards we went to the pub next door where I think they like babies a lot! I had a very nice time flirting with a lady there and then I got so tired from all the activity I fell asleep!

Asleep at The Phoenix in Sunbury on Thames

One other really fun thing I've done with Mommy and my Uncle Si is to walk along the south bank of the Thames. I asked Mommy if we could ride on the London Eye and she said yes. We also saw some people making bugs and things out of sand. It was super neato. I think when I get a little older I'm have a greater appreciation of it. Or at least that's what mommy says.

My first family visit in London! So fun!

Very nice Traditional Pies at the Borough Market
My grandparents are visiting us this month.
We've done lots of fun things, including walking
all over the place! We went to The Borough Market,
saw the Old Globe Theatre where some guy
named William used to put on plays he wrote a
very very long time ago.
On the way home from our big walk, we walked across
the Millenium Bridge, over the Thames River.
The sun was setting which all the grownups seemed to like.
My favorite thing actually was the way the shiny floor
made my buggy vibrate. Good for relaxing!

On my first big day out with my grandparents,
we went to Gymboree. My first class ever and
boy did I have fun!! Popo took lots of pictures,
so we'll try to have them up soon so everyone
can see how much fun I had!
On the second day we wanted to do something
that Grandma and Popo have been looking
forward to since they were last in London 4
years ago! (That's a super duper long time.)
We went to Ye Olde Mitre. Here's a picture of me at the table in front of our little area where we had a fireplace. Yes, that's my Guardsman from the Queen's Palace at Westminster.
Here's a video of Grandma and Popo and me at the Mitre.

We'll check in again soon with more to report.
Big hugs and kisses!
